Client: oh design.

Project: Dear Liza.

Location: Window Sill

The Dear Liza vase was the result of a series of self-directed design briefs centred around anti-consumerism.

Dear Liza was designed to challenge people's perception of an everyday object. We choose the vase because of the familarity of use.

By creating an opening in the base of the vase we fundamentally changed the way in which it can be used. Although still fully functional, the user is forced out their usual apathy and must now consider the amount of water used and its location carefully.
