Truro Uncovered is an uplifting 3 day exhibition exposing the amazing history that lies beneath Truro as part of the Truro Historical Project commissioned by the Truro City Council.Working closely with graphic design agency Gendall we helped design and build the creative displays and interactive elements of the exhibition.Utilising the aesthetics and availability of old timber pallets, rough sawn timbers and weathered recycled materials, the modular design scheme reflected elements of Truro's historical trade.Amongst the displays were a number of small interactive exhibits aimed to help engage a younger audience. Children could sniff smells of old trading ports and learn about trade routes through the Carrick Roads. oh design is currently reconfiguring the exhibition ahead of its relocation to the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro, where it will remain for the rest of the summer.
